Budget 2014: How balanced it is?
So the first union budget of the new government is out. As expected some will applause it and some will criticize as per their benefits. But if we see from a neutral view, as a commoner, this is the very well balanced budget given by a forty five days old government. They includes everyone in this budget, be it a service class or a business class, a middle class or a poor class, farmers or small scale industrialists. They increase the price where it is required and decrease where it helps the common people.
Items which are not important of harmful to health are now cost more like tobacco products and aerated drinks. Items which are required for the growth of the country will be cheaper now like computers, steel products, solar energy products etc.
Middle class who is the much ignored section in the country will have the reason to smile now. Now they will save more. Government played very smartly here. On one side they increase the tax exemption, so that people have more money in their hand and on the other side they increased the investment limit in 80C. From this the government will be able to pull the money in the market which further strengthens the economy.
There are schemes launched for the complete nation in every sector rather than for only few parts or for few sections of the society. The government emphasized on the organic farming in north east states, resettlement of displaced Kashmiris, sports university in every states, linking of river throughout the nation, cleanliness of river, improvement of infrastructure etc.
On analyzing the budget, it is evident that it will give a jump start to the economy and growth to the nation which was missing from past years. If the government is able to execute the schemes successfully, we will see the fruits will be reaching to the common people of the nation.
